the sheet steel is immersed in a molten zinc bath to make asheet of zinc coated on its surface.
lt is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, thatis, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in a platingtank with zinc melted to make galvanized steel plate; alloyedgalvanized steel plate.
The main advantage of galvanized steel is its corrosionresistance.The zinc coating serves as a barrier between thesteel and the environment and will sacrifice itself in order toprotect the underlying steel; Meaning the zinc will degrademuch sooner than the steel itself. Additionally, it offers goodprocessability and formability.

Product Description
RoofingSheet is a plain carbon steel sheet coated in a galvanizing process that applies a barrier
of zinc to insulate it from the elements. Most of the corrugated roofing and siding products seen
today and for many years past are made with a galvanized finish. It is most commonly used for commercial, agricultural, and industrial purposes, however, it is now
also being recognized as an excellent form of residential roofing.
GI Roofing Steel Sheet advantages compared with normal one A normal steel sheet will rust
almost immediately, but galvanizing will protect the steel. This galvanized, eltro-coated, hot dipped process produces a silvery look or spangled finish. As a standard, several of our industrial
metal siding, metal roofing, metal decking, corrugated metal panels and accessories are made
in galvanized steel.

General Industrial Plants
The use environment of general industrial plants and warehouses is not corrosive. When choosing color coated steel, it requires more practicability and cost-effectiveness, rather than higher corrosion resistance and aging resistance. Therefore, PE color coated steel is the most widely used in general industrial plants and warehouses. It adopts galvanized sheet as substrate with a double-sided zinc layer of 80 GSM,and the top paint thickness is 20μm. Of course, you can also lower or improve the quality requirements of the pre-painted steel according to your budgets and specific industries.
Using for Public Buildings
It has higher requirements for color retention, chalking resistance, and surface quality. Therefore, we usually adopt an AZ150 galvalume sheet, Z275 galvanized sheet, or aluminum-manganese-magnesium alloy sheet as the base metal. The top coating is commonly PVDF coating or HDP coating, 25μm in thickness and mostly in a light color. And the paint is applied by double coating and double baking.
